BRINGING GOVERNANCE CLOSER TO THE PEOPLE….. On October 8, 2022 the LGU Mina headed by Mayor Lydia Grabato and Vice Mayor John Michael Defensor together with SB Members – Hon. Felne Novo and Hon. Ireneo Pecina, and the Department Heads conducted Barangay General Assembly in Barangay Amiroy. In attendance were Punong Barangay Rogelio Patingo with his Barangay Officials and residents of Brgy. Amiroy.

General Assembly of Brgy. Tumay conducted by Mayor Lydia Grabato, Vice Mayor John Michael Defensor, Mina PNP, Mina BFP and LGU’s Department Heads held on October 7, 2022. It was attended by Punong Barangay Juliet Sobrevega with Barangay Officials and the residents of Brgy. Tumay.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) VI Personnel conducted an Orientation on the process of applying for a drug-cleared municipality and the documents needed based on the rules and procedures under the manual of operation of Barangay Drug Clearing Program (BDCP) today, October 5, 2022, at the Municipal SB Session Hall.

Patubas 2022 of DepEd, Division of Iloilo

Reaping Success! DepEd District of Mina garners the following awards during Patubas 2022 of DepEd, Division of Iloilo held today at Grand Xing Hotel, Iloilo City:1. Mina National High School, one of the Outstanding Secondary Schools (large) in the Division of Iloilo;2. Agmanaphao Elementary School, one of the Outstanding Elementary Schools in the Division of Iloilo; and3. Mr. Ian Paul S. Edang, one of the Outstanding School Heads in the Division of Iloilo. The award for MNHS was received by Dr. Luda Ahumada, Principal of MNHS with Mayor Lydia E. Grabato, Dr. Bimbo Casquite, District Supervisor and Department Heads. Likewise, Dr. Casquite and Mayor Grabato joined Mr. Ian Paul Edang in receiving his award as Outstanding School Head and for Agmanaphao Elem. School as Outstanding Elem. School. Present also are School Heads of Dep Ed District of Mina and teachers of Agmanaphao Elem. School.
