The 2nd Barangay General Assembly conducted by Mayor Lydia E. Grabato was held earlier today, September 18, 2022 at Brgy. Tipolo Mina, Iloilo. Joining Mayor Grabato were Vice Mayor John Michael Defensor, SB Members-Hon. Baasim Abbas Pendioday, Hon. Germaine Dableo and Hon. Ireneo Pecina .The LGU’s Department Heads – Dr. Janeatte Sobrevega, Municipal Health Officer; Ian Cezar Solivio represented MSWDO; Licerio Patingo, GSO/OIC Municipal Engineer; Romeo Tabarnilla, Municipal Treasurer: Dory Emelo, Municipal Assessor; Engr. Xykster Pelaez, MAO; Arch. Myla Allada, Building Official designate; Stephany S. Baradas, BPLO: and Mr. Jimylle Jan Caalim of MDRRMO with other MDRRMO personnel; and Police Officer Bernard Masisado representing Mina PNP were the speakers during the assembly. Others present were Gina Ganado, Centenelly Patani, Jenifer Estoche of Mayor’s Office, Noreleen Solido of HRMO, Dolyn Benasfre of MPDC and Aljon Patanao of Accounting while Manuel Armada, Jr served as the official photographer. Appreciation of LGU Mina is extended to Punong Barangay Jornil Adorio and the Brgy. officials and the people of Tipolo Mina for their presence and support to this activity spearheaded by Mayor Grabato.

The first General Assembly held in Brgy. Janipaan West, Mina, Iloilo on September 17, 2022 conducted by Mayor Lydia E. Grabato. Xykster Pelaez, MAO; Jose Francis Lego, MPDC; Arch. Myla Allada, Building Official designate; Stephany S. Baradas, BPLO: and Mr. Gideon Aludia representing MDRRMO with other MDRRMO personnel; and PMSg Rosendo Babon, Jr., representing Mina PNP. Gina Ganado of Mayor’s Office and Myla Patriarca of GSO joined also the team with Manuel Armada, Jr as official photographer.

8 On-the-Job Training (OJT) students taking up BS Accountancy at St. Vincent College of Science and Technology in Leganes, Iloilo paid a visit to Mayor Lydia E. Grabato on September 16, 2022 after finishing their 400 practicum hours. Four of them were assigned in the Office of the Municipal Accountant and the other four in the Municipal Treasurer’s Office.

The Kapit Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive & Integrated Delivery of Social Services National Community Driven Development Additional Financing (KALAHI-CIDDS NCDDP AF) in the Municipality of Mina is now on its project Preparation stage for Phase 2. In implementing the program, series of activities are being conducted and one of these is the Design Planning and Analysis (DPA).The activity was spearheaded by the Municipal Coordinating Team with the technical assistance of the Area Coordinating Team. The unending support from the Local Government Unit of Mina headed by its Municipal Mayor, Hon. Lydia E. Grabato also made this activity a success. The activity was participated by the community volunteers of the 22 barangays and the selected MIAC Members. This activity aims to capacitate and encourage the community to prioritize their own needs and to actively participate in the design planning of their own projects. Guided by the KALAHI principle, people are capacitated so they will become prepared in managing community issues and problems as well as in planning, mobilization, implementation and resource management.

The LGU Mina through the Municipal Health Office headed by Dr. Janeatte A. Sobrevega conducted a Blood Letting Activity this morning at the Mina Sports and Cultural Center (MSCC) with the support of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Lydia E. Grabato. More than 50 volunteers donated their blood and supported the said activity.

Ang DSWD Field Office VI sa kooperasyon sang LGU Mina paagi sa MSWD sa pagpamuno ni Mrs. Glenna Aludia, OIC-MSWDO kag opisina sang OSCA sa pagdumala ni Mrs. Virginia Borra nagpatigayon sang pag release sang Social Pension sa 2,107 beneficiaries nga mga Senior Citizens para sa 3rd quarter subong nga adlaw September 13, 2022. Ginhiwat ini sa nagkalain lain nga pay out center sa mga barangay sang Mina. Masobra 3 ka million ang gin panghatag para makasapin sapin sa mga kinahanglanon sang mga Senior Citizens. Ginapasalamatan ang mga Kagawad sa Social Services sa ila pagbulig, sa mga opisyales sang tagsa ka asosasyon sang senior citizens sa mga barangay, ilabi na gid ang suporta sang aton pinalangga nga Mayor, Hon. Lydia E.Grabato. Ginapasalamatan man ang SWA sang 3rd District nga amo ang nangin teller naton kag si Mr. Oscar Yanson ang SWA assign sa Mina kaupod ang mga Federated Senior Citizens Officers.
