Grabato commended the Municipality’s athletes and coaches for being the Over-All Champion during the Third Congressional District Association Meet 2016. Held last October 24-26, 2016 at the Municipality of Calinog
The municipality got a total of 65 Gold Medals, 41 Gold Medals for Elementary Level and 24 Gold Medals for Secondary Level.

In preparation for the upcoming Rescue Olympics on December 9, 2016, Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader conducts scheduled training with its members from November 14- December 6, 2016.
On November 9, 2016, the Mina PNP personnel under the supervision of PSINSP Ma. Theresa Lero, Officer In-Charged in coordination with Hon. Rey P. Grabato, Local Chief Executive, Mina, Iloilo conducted Drug Summit and Signing of Oath of Commitment held at the SB Session Hall of the Municipality. MPOC Members, all SB Members and Punong Barangays of the Municipality, and all Department Heads of the LGU took part in the activity.
For compliance to the Office Order No. 22 from the Office of the Municipal Mayor, an important meeting/dialogue concerning the role re: Policies and some pertinent laws regarding work ethics and (as provided in RA 7160 Section 444 #2 sub (ii)) other subject deem important for the general welfare was held last October 29, 2016 at the new SB Session Hall.
