MAIS Program is widely implemented in the municipality. In October 2015, the member LGUs of the ICIA-ED, Inc adopted the program. These are the municipalities of Bingawan, Badiangan, Pototan, Calinog, Lambunao, Janiuay, Cabatuan, Mina and Maasin. Series of trainings were conducted by the Provincial MAIS task force, Madam Lydia Grabato, Engr. Xykster Pelaez, Tomas Bibangco (PPDO) and Melinda Defensor (PPDO).
