The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office in cooperation with the Municipal Disaster risk reduction and Management Council aim to have a resilient Municipality with an empowered community of vulnerable and marginalized and a responsive Local Government Unit with the participation of the civil society organization to mitigate, prepare for respond to and recover from the impact of the disaster. The MDRRMO provides trainings and drills on disaster risk reduction and, management to the local community to enhance their capabilities and strengthen their capacities in disaster preparedness and post disaster recovery, and promote the involvement and participation of all sectors and all stakeholders concerned towards a disaster resilient municipality .
