Fully Equipped Center: Birthing Center for Mina should not just be a birthing center but a birthing center equipped with complete facilities. Hence, the rehabilitation and expansion of the old health center initiated by Mayor Rey P. Grabato. In 2008, Mina was granted funds from the World Bank through the Municipal Development Fund Office of the Department of Finance. This paved the way to the renovation of the Delivery Room for birthing services along with the following:
a. A clean labor room and post-partum ward;
b. Complete equipment necessary to make and maintain the delivery room aseptic at all time such UV Lights and Autoclave;
c. Acquisition of linen, gowns, and drapes for Delivery Room use;
d. PHILHEALTH Accreditation for Maternal Health Package and to conduct New Born Screening;
e. Complete laboratory equipment including X-Ray & ECG machines.
